1st Formal Outing

Koby had his Hep B jab on 26 Dec 07. A jaundice test was also done and was at a safe level of 60. The nurse told us that jaundice may develop a few days after birth, even though baby may not have it at birth, it's still best to bring baby for the test a week after the birth...perhaps all thanks to the coconut juice taken during the last few weeks of pregnancy.

28 Dec 07 is considered his formal outing to visit his great-grandma and Ji Xiang @ Haig Rd. He slept throughout and we had to take turns to carry him. Aching backs and shoulders after that outing...

1st Month

The baby shower was held at ah ma's place on X'mas Day.

A total of 97 people including a dog (rum rum) and two babies attended Koby's 1st month celebration. Buffret was sponsored by ah ma.

Our Little Prince: Koby Ang Zhiren

Our little prince Koby Ang Zhiren was born on 25 Nov 07 after 39 wks 5 days. He weigh 2.86kg at birth. This is his very first picture taken on that day...isn't his hair messy...

Was quite surprised that my labour lasted only 3 hours..when admitted to SGH was already dilated 8cm and too late for epidural. Was really helpless during those contractions...even talking to the nurses and doctors proved a problem. Kept telling myself to hang on there and couldn't wait to see my very own baby.

The nurses decided to "style" his hair after his bath the next day...isn't he a handsome little boy?

The first few weeks after his birth was really depressing. He could cry non-stop for no reasons and we couldn't seem to console him in anyway...and especially during night time...can really make one depressed.

4th day since birth....i love my mommy and daddy...
