he's also November baby, same as Koby and Uncle Francis

Koby received a present - a balloon Corgi doggy (which color resembles my pet Jack Rusell - Timothy) from Uncle Francis on X'mas Day. Whenever u ask where's his dog, he will turn and look for it. We noticed that he can understand simple words, especially those things that he likes (ie balloon, ball, dog, car, etc). It's amazing that babies can learn real fast..though they don't know how to talk yet.

Koby's Sesame Street birthday cake with his favourite balloon decorations...bought from Pines Garden for $92 and coutesy of Daddy...the top layer is mango flavour and the lower layer is strawberry flavour. The decorations are cute and cake is yummy....

Invitation to Jerry's 1st Birthday

On 13 Sep 08 (a day before "zhong qu jie"), cousin Jerry celebrated his 1st birthday at Rio Vista Condo Function Room. We also brought along 2 of his lanterns (ccoutesy of ah ma and po po) to celebrate "zhong qu jie". There were also lots of kids and babies at the party. Here's a cute shot of Koby on the playmat.

Cake cutting time!!! Koby was so excited when he saw the Thomas the train cake as he has a similar Thomas toy train. See that smile on his face...it was as though it's his birthday. His birthday is still 2 months away...Koby should be looking forward to it.

6 days to 9 months old!

We brought Koby to the Delta swimming complex for his first swim on a sunday morning. At first he was a little scared but when Daddy called out to him he was alright already.

Koby is almost 9 mths and has 5 teeth already. One more will be coming out pretty soon. At times it still gets itchy and he will practically chew on his toys and books....

Daddy bought Koby a tricycle for $60. Koby likes to ride on the tricycle and be pushed around the neighbourhood...at least he would be entertained and watch the other children play at the playground downstairs...

Then we decided to put the piggy cap on him as well...he is quite photogenic and knows how to smile when we take his picture...this marks the end of the trip

On our way out, there's a souvenior shop near the exit. Aunty Lina saw this huge white tiger and decided to put Koby on the back of the $1000 tiger...

Koby and Po Po...the penguin happened to dived into the water and splashing the water everywhere when this pic was taken...that's why both have this "mouth wide open" expression...

And guess what's his favourite animal at the zoo? It's the white tiger...which managed to hold his attention for quite a while...

SP Family Day was held at the Singapore Zoo this year. We brought Koby, Gu Gu, Po Po and Aunty Lina to the zoo....it's also Koby's first trip to the zoo....

Koby was fascinated by the see-through glass at the "dian xiao er" restaurant. He was curious about the duck heads behind the glass...hee...and look at his "saliva-coated", stinky hand on the glass...yucks...

"Shu shu" took a late night flight back to China on 29 Jun 08. This time, together to mummy, daddy, gu gu, weiming gor gor, ah gong, ah ma, lina aunty and cheng choo aunty send shu shu off. As usual, Koby just can't stop fidgeting in the car, at the foodcourt, and even while taking photos, he got this cheeky mischievous look at times...like the above photograph....enlarge the pic to look at his cheeky eyes....

One day, our maid, Lina saw this cover magazine on the table and found that the features of the baby on the magazine cover looked very much like Koby. She kept asking us whether it's Koby..she said the eyes, nose and mouth looked very much like him...seems like Koby is very photogenic.

On 18 May 08, Koby, Daddy and Mummy attended Hestia's 1st year birthday at Aloha resorts. The next day we found the hat and specs in the party pack. Little prince Koby wear his party hat.

On 20 Jun 08, Koby's "shu shu" came back from Suzhou. He was yawning throughout while waiting for "shu shu" at the arrival hall. Koby, together with daddy and mommy, ah gong and ah ma, wei ming gor gor and gu gu went to fetch "shu shu". Koby did not sleep till 12am that day. After that day, he has been having late nights.

Recently, his two bottom teeth just came out...and the top teeth are coming out pretty soon...he gets rather cranky at times...

Koby is starting to be curious about everything we do nowadays...and his favourite is to room around in his walker..."munching his chicken" and supervising Aunty Lina while she is doing housework. He also reaches out to touch whatever attracts his attention...
