Koby is 18 months old..at last!!!

Daddy's car....
mmmm.....

I am a little tumble tot
Finally, our little one is 1yr and 6mths...was a really long wait. haa...
This month we have registered him for pre-school (N1) next year at Chinese Kindergarden which is off outram road. There will be an orientation in Oct / Nov this year.
In preparing him for school, we have also sign him up for the tumble tots gym at Jurong East, every sunday at 10.30am. Probably boys are slower...he is still shy and cry when he sess the teacher. But I must comment that Teacher Nadia was very very patient. Despite his crying etc (keep disturbing others...so 'ma lu'), she still encourage us to let him slowly adapt. She even prepare his favourite ambulance when he comes for class...we were very happy when he did not cry last week. The other malay mother in the class were also very nice...Maya's mother even thought that Maya probably had frightened Koby as she always loves to run and dance around...Maya is very active in participating in the class and very sweet little girl.
Koby's favourite past time at home now is watching the TV and playing his Tanaka cars. He has quite a number...a few was given from others while the rest is bought by mommy. He prefers cars to trains and loves to make the engine sound 'mmmmmm' while he is on daddy's car.

Poor Koby Disfigured!!!

Koby'd scar on the left side of his forehead
Haven't been updating the blog for some time. One unfortunate incident happened to Koby in Apr 09.
On 12 Apr 09, after the tumble thots gym class at Jurong East, we headed down to IMM for lunch...probably will be a lifetime regret as Koby got a scar from a fall. While we were waiting for Lina to finish her lunch, Koby was playing at the 'Egg Machine' outside the Kopitiam. As he wasn't very stable, he tripped, fell and knocked his head against the metal part where you turn the ''egg' from the 'Egg Machine'. He was bleeding profusely and we brought him to his PD clinic. The cut was small but the doctor had to 'glue' the cut as it was quite deep. The good thing is no stiches required (phew! otherwise he probably will cry his eyes out).
Dr Edmund Koh was nice. On the third follow-up session, he gave us the antu-scar cream FOC. However, after 1 month plus now, Koby still has the scar. Hopefully as he grow older and his skin will probably strench so that the scar will disappear. Anyway, Koby did not remember the incident anymore and can't keep still as usaual. sigh...
